About Jed
With nearly fifteen years of political and policy experience, Jed Bhuta is the founder and principal of Tower 19, a full-service government affairs consulting firm specializing in Democratic outreach at both the federal and state level.
Over the course of his career, Jed has gained the knowledge, skills, and experience to help clients navigate the political process. Jed started his career in the front office of a US Senator and worked as a legislative staffer in the US House of Representatives, including working as a senior staffer for both a moderate Democratic member and the Blue Dog Coalition. His private sector experience includes working as the Director of Legislative and External affairs at America’s Natural Gas Alliance, a DC-based Trade Association, where he developed advocacy strategies at the federal, state, and local level; working on telecommunications, labor, technology, and tax issues in Congress as an in-house lobbyist for General Motors; and managing multiple private clients on specific issues as a contract lobbyist representing interests at multiple levels of government. Jed has also spent time working on several House, Senate, and Presidential campaigns. He draws on this expertise to help his clients develop and execute a successful government affairs strategy.
